........one lesson at a time................................This blog will not make sense to anyone else. Emotional, fighting, struggling, weak, pathetic, disgusting, and usually replying to others so more incoherent than even my usually pretty incoherent self. You are welcome to look around but you wont like what you see. i am a monster with a tiny part that still thinks it can break free.Hopelessly hopeful. |

We usually think when we want to feel love that someone has to love us. We make ourselves helpless, waiting for someone to come along and give us exactly what we want, when we want it.
But it’s backward. Whenever we want to feel love, we can send that love out, wish it towards ourselves and others. It’s available unlimited and on demand. We only need to offer it. With a practice like loving-meditation (or other similar ones) we learn over time to get really good at tapping into it. Then it gushes like a fountain.
“Where there is no love, put love, and you will find love.”
—St. John of the Cross
“No external condition can prevent love. No one and nothing can stop it. The awakening of metta [loving-kindness] is not contingent upon things or people being a certain way.”
—Sharon Salzberg

Don’t be pushed by your problems. Be led by your dreams. Live the life you want to live. Be the person you want to remember years from now. Make decisions and act on them. Make mistakes, fall and try again. Even if you fall a thousand times, at least you won’t have to wonder what could have been. At least you will know in your heart that you gave your dreams your best shot.
Each of us has a fire in our hearts burning for something. It’s our responsibility in life to find it and keep it lit. This is your life, and it’s a short one. Don’t let others extinguish your flame. Try what you want to try. Go where you want to go. Follow your own intuition. Dream with your eyes open until you know exactly what it looks like. Then do at least one thing every day to make it a reality.
And as you strive to achieve your goals, you can count on there being some fairly substantial disappointments along the way. Don’t get discouraged; the road to your dreams may not be an easy one. Think of these disappointments as challenges – tests of persistence and courage. At the end of the road, more often than not, we regret what we didn’t do far more than what we did.

What shopping should really be about.
i hate when i see people walking around with pizza or chocolate or dinner boxes or breakfast rolls or whatever. i love love love when people walk around with bags filled with cds, toys, books, dvds, teddies, presents, flowers etc etc.
Because life is about real things and experience not stupid food crap. (Eat to live, dont live to eat etc).
This is the best thing i can imagine in a shopping bag.

Fight for whats important. Always fight. Life has a cost no matter what we do, always, so the effort may as well be given to something good.
Fight back, run, and when you can’t run walk, and when you can’t walk crawl, and when you can’t do that, get someone to carry you.
i dont have the answers yet. But they’re worth looking for so we have to keep fighting.
